TALLADEGA PICS

So we all know that Gibson and I are HUGE Nascar fans. This past weekend was the Spring race. We had a GREAT time, and the races didnt' even get rained out. It rained afterwards, but they weren't rained out! Anyway, we usually have HUGE mullet hunt after the race, but we didn't do it this year--guess we were worn out, or had a little too much to drink. Anyway, we still did get a few, thought I would share them. I have to say, they are pretty pale in comparison to our previous hunts. I am surprised we haven't gotten our butts beat yet by some Mullet sporting redneck BUT we have they system down to perfection. The people with us don't even realize we what we are doing until we all of a sudden take off in opposite directions. Anyway, enjoy!

You have to look closely, notice the man with the silver
"do" just to the right of Gibson's head.

This wasn't a great one, but it was ok!

I have NO idea what Regina is laughing at!
Gibson didn't get to get in the pic with this one b/c he was headed back
to find our tickets that he dropped on the way to the track---he found them
though! And yes, the front part is shaved (well, its pretty short)
This wasn't really a mullet, but I figured it
was good enought to put in!

THE FIRE

So, I know I stink at this entire blogging thing. Thankfully I finally figured out how to add people. Anyway, I have just had a lot going on with trying to dig through the old house, work on house plans...oh and if anyone has any good suggestions for a "Residential Architect" let me know...trying to work and do all the other fifty million things I have to do...blogging just ain't happenin much. Anyway, I attateched pictures of the house. You can see interior shots from the previous posts and a friend of mine emailed me some of the outside. Have I found anything, well, not anything of monetary value, but you would be amazed what I have found. More later on what I found and how I plan to use it. About to head off to watch my husband play tennis oh and drink a beer or two. Kinda an emotional day, I drove up to the house today and the two crepe myrtles and all the pear trees that I was planning on digging up had been attatched by the backhoe---Gibson came walking up right after that and it was NOT a pretty moment. Needless to say, all the men from the farm helping me kinda flipped when I started crying. They have been really sweet but if one more asks me if they can I am planning on keeping so and so and if not can they have it...I am going to deck them!
